After Sunday's top ten finish at Amstel Gold, Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank is ready for the next stop on the UCI World Tour: Flèche Wallonne Feminine, a hilly race in the Wallonia region of Belgium. The race kicks off this Wednesday, April 24, at 10:30am local time (1:30am PDT), with an expected finish time around 2pm (5am PDT).
Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank’s roster for the Flèche Wallonne will be Brodie Chapman (AUS), Alison Jackson (CAN), Nina Kessler (NED), Shannon Malseed (AUS), Rozanne Slik (NED) and Lauren Stephens (USA).
With its finish atop the steep Mur de Huy, Flèche Wallonne is where Brodie Chapman, in her first year as a pro in 2018, scored her first top 20 finish at a World Tour race. Covering a total of 118.5 kilometers and seven climbs, this year’s race begins at the Grand-Place square in Huy and heads into a 70km opening loop, which includes a climb up the Côte de Warre. The smaller finishing circuit, which riders will tackle twice before finishing on top of the Mur, packs in three climbs: the Côte d’Ereffe, the Côte de Cherave and the Mur de Huy.
"I'm looking forward to continuing the momentum we've achieved thus far," said Ruud Verhagen, Sports Director for Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank. "The team is improving each race, and that gives energy to all of us."
