Race Preview & Updates: UCI WWT Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne

Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank has returned to Northern Europe for the fourth race on the UCI Women’s World Tour calendar, Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne, on Thursday, March 28. The 150-kilometer classic is one of the longest events on the calendar, beginning in Bruges and finishing in De Panne, Belgium.

The roster for Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne will be: Brodie Chapman (AUS), Alison Jackson (CAN), Nina Kessler (NED), Kendall Ryan (USA), Rozanne Slik (NED) and Lauren Stephens (USA).

It’s a busy race week for the team, with three UCI World Tour events on the schedule. The team just raced Trofeo Alfredo Binda — Comune di Cittiglio on Sunday, where Alison Jackson (CAN) scored 14th place overall. This Thursday is Driedaagse, and on Sunday, the team will be competing in Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders Fields.

The next set of races feature flatter terrain, but with all the challenges that come with the Belgian courses. Cobblestone sections, crosswinds and narrow roads invariably break up the field and lead to fast finishes.
