Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank is preparing for the final race of their 2019 Australian racing block: the Jayco Herald Sun Tour. It was at this race last year that Brodie Chapman (AUS) achieved a stunning victory that launched her professional career with Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank.
The 2019 edition of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour will be a two-stage race, starting on Philip Island, just south of Melbourne. Heading into the mountains for a challenging 91.5km course, Stage 2 will be the defining race for the overall classification, and an opportunity for Brodie to demonstrate her climbing prowess. The main climb of the day ascends Dobbins Road in the final 20km of the race, featuring a 1km gravel section before a fast descent into the finish line.
In an interview with Cycling News, Brodie said, "The Herald Sun Tour gave me a platform to really showcase my abilities and hard work…The outcomes came a lot quicker and easier than expected, but it certainly gave me the confidence to continue to aim to be the best rider I can..." [Read More]
