Sara Bergen, Emma Grant and Kate rode off the front of the final break with just a few kilometers to race and held their lead over a splintering peloton on the final climb to fill the podium positions. Team TIBCO - Silicon Valley Bank riders put in an incredible team effort on the 68 kilometer La Course by Le Tour de France yesterday to enable Lauren Stephens to finish 7th on the day. Lauren Stephens wins Individual Time Trial in Thuringen

Lauren was happy with her win: "I have done this TT before and lost by 2/100 of a second. To come back and win was very exciting. I was really focused and I felt very confident with my ride when I finished." Ed Beamon, sports director gave his thoughts after a lively podium ceremony

"It was a fantastic night for the team” said Director Jeff Pierce: "This is a huge race in Canada that was founded in 1973. The crowds were enormous and the atmosphere was terrific. With only four riders we were outgunned by the larger teams but we went in with a singular focus, to set up Kendall. We had some moments with some crashes but all of the girls got back up and contributed throughout the race. In the end Kendall went with 400 meters to go and won the sprint comfor
