Why cycling?
I love being outdoors and I love making meaningful connections with people, no better way to do those things than on a bicycle!
What's your motivation to train on those extra tough, cold-weather days?
I picture moments where I've performed well or moments where I think I could have done better and use those feelings to push me through.

Organize, hah!
Favorite warmup song:
Avicii-Wake Me Up

Depends on the time of year, but typically yogurt, granola, and blueberries.
Any advice to future // aspiring cyclists?
Try not to compare your progress to others, everyone is on their own path. It's good to use peers as motivators but beyond that it's better to focus on what YOU can do to reach YOUR goals.
Little-Known Fact:
The fifth time I ever road a mountain bike I entered in a 24 hour mountain bike race with a friend. Not thinking that we would be competitive, he started drinking while I did my first lap. When I came in holding our second place, he had to sober up so we could finish the dang thing and we still finished in second!
